1. General information
This policy describes how data is processed on the website available at majachwalinskatenis.pl (the "Site").
The Site is independent and informational — it is not the player's official website and is not affiliated with Maja Chwalinska, the WTA or the organisers of Roland-Garros (FFT).
2. What data we collect
Using the Site requires no registration or personal data. Data is collected mainly automatically:
- Technical data and server logs: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, date and time of the visit, referring page — used to keep the Site secure and working, and for statistics.
- Cookies and similar technologies: described in section 3.
- Data provided voluntarily: e.g. the content of an email if you contact us.
3. Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. The Site uses:
- Essential cookies — e.g. remembering your cookie-consent choice. They are required for the Site to work and do not need consent.
- Analytics and advertising cookies — set by third parties (mainly Google) to display ads and measure their performance. These require your consent.
You manage consent via the cookie banner shown on your first visit. You can change or withdraw consent at any time by deleting cookies and site data in your browser settings, and manage Google ad preferences at adssettings.google.com.
4. Google AdSense & ads
The Site uses Google AdSense, provided by Google Ireland Ltd., to display ads. As a result:
- Google and its partners may use cookies (including the "DoubleClick" cookie) to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites.
- Ads may be personalised or non-personalised, depending on your consent.
- How Google uses data is described in "How Google uses information…" and the Google Privacy Policy.
5. Third-party providers
The Site may load resources and embed content from third parties that may process data (e.g. IP address) on their own behalf:
- Google (AdSense, Google Fonts) — advertising and web fonts.
- Instagram / Meta — an embedded link to the player's official profile.
6. Legal basis & your rights (GDPR)
Data is processed in accordance with the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679). Legal bases:
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — for analytics and advertising cookies.
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) — security, statistics, handling correspondence.
You have the right to: access your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (PUODO).
